From My Email, The Wise Professor

Apparently, Messrs Obama, Geithner, and Bernanke skipped this class:

An   economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.  That class had insisted that Obama's brand of socialism worked, and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.  "Spread the wealth around."
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's
plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A...
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.    The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.  As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who had studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too, so they studied   little.
The second test average was a D! No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because:
"When the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great; but when any government takes all the reward away, no one will try nor want to succeed."
Remember, there is a test coming up:
The Presidential election in 2012!

Top Reasons To Vote Democrat

When your "friends" cannot explain why they voted for Democrats,
give them this list.  They can then pick their reasons from this "TOP 11"...

1. I voted Democrat because I believe
oil companies' profits of 4% on a
gallon of gas are obscene, but the
government taxing the same gallon of
gas at 15% isn't.

2. I voted Democrat because I believe
the government will do a better job of
spending the money I earn than I
would.

3. I voted
Democrat because Freedom of
Speech is fine as long as nobody is
offended by it.

4. I voted Democrat because I'm way
too irresponsible to own a gun, and I
know that my local police are all I
need to protect me from murderers and
thieves.

5. I voted Democrat because I believe
that people who can't tell us if it
will rain on Friday can tell us that
the polar ice caps will melt away in
ten years if I don't start driving a
Prius.

6. I voted Democrat because I'm not
concerned about millions of babies
being aborted so long as we keep all
death row inmates alive.

7. I voted Democrat because I think
illegal aliens have a right to free
health care, education, and Social
Security benefits.

8. I voted Democrat because I believe
that business should not be allowed to
make profits for themselves. They need
to break even and give the rest away
to the government for redistribution
as the Democrats see fit.

9. I voted Democrat because I believe
liberal judges need to rewrite the
Constitution every few days to suit
some fringe kooks who would never get
their agendas past the
voters.

10. I voted Democrat because I think
that it's better to pay billions to
people who hate us for their oil, but
not drill our own because it might
upset some endangered beetle or
gopher.

11. I voted Democrat because while we
live in the greatest, most wonderful
country in the world, I was promised
"HOPE AND CHANGE".

In 2012, before you vote, THINK!

OBAMA BLAMES _____________ AND ________ FOR CRISES

Per Rush Limbaugh, do a Google search for the two words Obama blames, and fill in the blanks as you will.
It may take a bit of time to wade through the 455,000 results.  Civility, indeed.

One of my personal favorites is from March, 2011 Investors Business Daily:
" OBAMA BLAMES OIL COMPANIES FOR LACK OF DRILLING."

Golly gee, I wonder why people are starting to distrust him.  Smartest guy in the room, eh?  NOT!!

My Question

If the Globe is so darn warm, then WHY am I wearing long pants, shoes and socks in AUGUST?
It's a robust 60 degrees outside.  Sixty.  October weather, sans the rain.  What say ye, Al Gore?
Gore?
Gore?
Anyone?

A Lesson in Tolerance, From Australia

I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against another mosque being built in Sydney. I think it should be the goal of every Australian to be tolerant.
Thus the Mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.
That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque, thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque.

We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, "The Turban Cowboy", and the other a topless bar called "You Mecca Me Hot".
Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbeque pork restaurant called, "Iraq o' Ribs".
Across the street there could be a lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret", with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.
Next door to the lingerie shop there would be room for an adult sex toy shop, "Koranal Knowledge", its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a liquor store called "Mo'Hammered".
All of this would encourage the Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us, so the mosque problem would be solved.

If you agree with promoting tolerance, and you think this is a good plan, please pass it on...
