Oregon Governor: Do-Right v. Whiplash

Oregon has suffered under the "leadership" of Democrat-party governors since 1987:

Neil "I likes 'em young" Goldschmidt set the "standard," and only avoided imprisonment as a child rapist by means of the statute of limitations involving non-violent crimes.  His wife wisely bailed out.  Former sheriff Bernie Giusto took the heat, and lost his job and his police certification for his willful blindness to the, errr, doings in the gubernatorial limo.

Barbara Roberts followed Pedoschmidt, having a 14-year career in Oregon politics prior to becoming governor, with no "real-world" business experience; however, she was enrolled at Harvard.

John Kitzhaber succeeded her, from 1995 to 2003. The charming and eloquent Dr. Kitzhaber is the primary author of the "Oregon Health Plan," Oregon's own version of socialized medicine.  He favored, and still favors, even greater taxation in order to fund his grandiose dreams.  Say a "value-added tax" on all retail sales.  Not a sales tax, oh, no!  A value-added tax.  Huge difference.   Huge.
Ted Kulongoski currently occupies the governor's office.  He inherited a debt-strangled state economy and a rapacious Public Employees Retirement System black hole.  He improved nothing in eight years, as demonstrated by the fact that he has drunk freely of the Global Warming, I mean, "Global Climate Disruption" Kool-Aid.  Watch this video for insights into Teddy K's mindset:

So, I'm supporting Chris Dudley for Governor.  
I believe that Daffy Duck would be a better governor than John Kitzhaber, based upon his history and his legacy.

  But, if you want more and higher taxes to pay for more "entitlements" and PERS perks, Dr. John is your guy.   I'm not sayin' that Dudley won't raise taxes, he may have to.  But at least he won't throw your money around like some half-drunken Tooth Fairy so the "have-nots" can keep pace with the "haves:"  If you have a job, if you have a home, if you have a car, if you have a bank account, if you have self-determination, prepare to forfeit them all to Dr. K's nanny-state utopian dreams. 

Or, do right, and vote for Dudley.

Proseletyzing in Public Schools

Would you, as a parent, allow your child to join in to an Islamic prayer?  What if, on a school-sponsored field trip, your child spent several hours in a mosque,  being indoctrinated in Muslim "history" and overtly proselytized by Muslim leaders?  Where is the ACLU on this?  Where are YOU?
