Orwell Redux

Today would be a good day to re-read Orwell's Animal Farm.  Purely in order to titillate your interest, I offer the following:

"He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?" - Robert Gibbs?

"Do you know who is responsible for this? Do you know the enemy who has come in the night and overthrown our (insert industry here)? It's Bush's/ the Tea Party's fault! - Pelosi, Reid, Obama, et al?

"Comrades!" he cries. "You do not imagine, I hope, that we (in power) are doing this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege? Many of us actually dislike (Wagyu beef and champagne). I dislike them myself.
Our sole object in taking these things is to preserve our health. Wagyu beef and champagne (this has been proved by Science, comrades) contain substances absolutely necessary to the well-being of a (person in power). We (in power) are brainworkers.
The whole management and organization of this (country) depend on us. Day and night we are watching over your welfare. It is for your sake that we drink that champagne and eat those Wagyu beefsteaks."
