The Two Faces of "O"

2003:  "I happen to be a proponent of single-payer, universal health care."

2009:  "I have not said that I was a single-payer supporter."

2007:  "I've been fighting alongside ACORN...all my career."

2009:  "I didn't even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of Federal money."

2008:  "Under my plan, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket."

2009:  "The 10-year cost of  Cap-and-Trade to the average American would be about the same as

           a postage stamp-a-day."

2008:  " I will shut down... Guantanamo Bay Detention Center."

2010:  " Today, I have directed the military to keep Guantanamo Bay Detention Center open..."

2009:  "We will not raise taxes for those making less than (insert random dollar figure here)."

2011:  "We will remove 'Tax Expenditures' for most..."

Just so you're clear, Mr. Obama believes that any tax rate less than 100% is solely due to the government's largesse toward you, since everything in America actually belongs to the government, at least your stuff does; keep yer damn hands off his stuff!  

I surely love Big Brother, how about you?

Disorder Amidst the Chaos

Ed Gillespie nails it:  "Barack Obama suffers from 'Deficit Attention Disorder.'"
Unlike all his Democrat predecessors, Barack Obama is NOT a "Tax-and-Spend" liberal, oh, no.  He is steadfastly just the opposite:  a "Spend-then-Tax" liberal.  Today's pre-campaign campaign speech was BHO's finest hour, swearing to end the eeevil "Bush Tax Cuts" for the rich.  I wonder, after winning the Fauxbel Prize of roughly $1 million, and book publishing royalties in the millions, does he consider Himself worthy of higher taxes?
You make me laugh.

Healthcare, imam Obama's personal crusa, I mean, CAUSE, will be made less expensive once he is handed the scalpel.  Drive-by circumcisions may become the rule, and, since most medical expenses for the elders in society occur during the last three months of life, guess who will be receiving the Black Pills instead of dialysis?  Remember, "Soylent Green* is people!"  True to form, Commisar Obama will expedite the spending of Other People's Money, or as he considers it, "unrealized wealth re-distributions." Mao has nothing on this kid.  In the Great and Powerful O's eyes, you are a) too fat, b) too wealthy, c) too wasteful, d) too stupid, e) too greedy, f) too religious, g) too well-armed, and h) too lazy to resist the inevitable "fundamental change."  Remember, "all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others."  Besides, it ain't easy to convince you to drive a "green" golf cart to Colorado while he dines on Wagyu beef and Lafite-Rothschild: "The 1982, if you please, Henri, or  the Latour, perhaps the '96.  We'll let you decide"

Chairman Obama's fiscal plan is revealed to be: "borrow more money to pay down the debt," a principle of economics that even a welfare recipient can understand as being completely ludicrous.  Can economic disaster be far behind?  The pattern of destruction of a nation's economy is not new:  look at Greece, Portugal, most of Africa:  their economies are being crushed by debt, welfare, and bloated governments. Without naming names, George Soros, we have seen this kabuki before.  Whether fundamentally unable or merely unwilling to consider history, Mr. Obama seeks to bring this once-great nation to its knees in much the same way that his vagabond father sought the destruction of the British Empire, if, as in the case of Senior, by no other means than by impregnating, and concurrently infecting, a variety of English and American women.  Junior seeks to infiltrate and infect our healthcare services (currently the finest in the world, even though Teh One says it's "broken"), his tax policies will stunt, if not murder, economic growth,

The cavalier attitude, the callousness is eerily similar.  We can only hope that Speaker Boehner has the cojones to do right by the taxpayers, and not curry favor like his predecessor.

* It occurs to me that some of you have not seen the Charlton Heston/Edward G. Robinson film "Soylent Green."  Like Orwell's "1984" it was frighteningly prophetic. NetFlicks it.
