And how many of those who cling to this view are full-time wusses and professors without a single driblet of military experience? Or, more to the point, which among that group has ever suggested any better means of extracting intel from known terrorists?
Obviously, I refer to those Islamist terrorists who are trained to resist all forms of "kinder and gentler" interrogations and who, at least in the opinion of Eric Holder, are entitled to the rights of American Citizens in matters of arrest and confinement and interrogation. Can you say "Halal?"
I suppose the non-stop playing of Barbra Streisand recordings might succeed in cracking their defenses, but would that not also constitute torture? Perhaps non-stop repetition of Obama stump speaches would fall into that same category, as would Eric Holder testimonies and Keith Olbermann commentaries.
