Et Tu, Brute?

Oregon Congressman Kurt Schrader, who represents the Democrats in his district, posted the following on his Facebook page:

"Have you joined the fight to stop special interest dominance of our elections yet? We're off to a great start with nearly 500 sign ups, but we need your help to build this movement. So sign the petition if you haven't yet, post this link to your Facebook profile and let's work together to build the momentum to bring fairness back to our elections."
As we all know, "fairness in our elections" is Demspeak for "Our poll numbers are tanking due to our wastrel spending and onerous taxations; let's find a straw man to blame asap so we can stay afloat."   As I peruse a list of HIS top campaign donors, I see a pattern:

AmeriPAC: The Fund for a Greater America
$25,000*

National Electrical Contractors Assn

$25,000

American Fedn of St/Cnty/Munic Employees

$22,500

Teamsters Union

$22,500

National Education Assn

$21,500

Intl Brotherhood of Electrical Workers

$20,000

American Federation of Teachers

$20,000

PAC to the Future  (see: Nancy Pelosi)

$20,000

Service Employees International Union

$20,000

National Rural Electric Cooperative Assn
$19,000

Human Rights Campaign
$18,776

Ironworkers Union
$17,500

Nope, didn't see any "special interest" money there, no siree, not one dime.  Now go away.
